Million 03:50
Verse 1: Oh, Find a bit of voice to keep charming the crown Fake a little smile, turn the bed down. I stay still in your sound. Chorus: It’s happening by the million, By the million, yeah. It’s happening by the million, By the million yeah; Extension: All the things kept secret, Right on cue. Verse 2: Oh, Find a bit of voice to proclaim clear sights A silver-spun throw, lit only by midnight I stay still in your sight. Chorus: It’s happening by the million, By the million, yeah It’s happening by the million, By the million yeah; Extension: All the things kept secret, Watch it prove. I Know: I know, I know, I know, I know I know, I know, I know… I know, I know, I know, I know I know, I know, I know… Bridge: All this worrying about not being part of it Doesn’t make it easy All this worrying about missing out from it Doesn’t make it easy, hey, hey… Verse 3: Oh, Settle it at wake, when the cirrus clouds break, A star struck show for the crowds in wait That golden globe state. Chorus: It’s happening by the million, By the million, yeah It’s happening by the million, By the million yeah It’s happening by the million, By the million, yeah It’s happening by the million, By the million, yeah It’s happening by the...

Fox 03:54
Verse 1: Let’s mind our manners Spin the bolts out from the spanners Stare at it straight and throw away fake Pray for less lies to compensate At midnight I’ll sit awake Turning meaning into waste Throwing the glass at all our rocks You watch like the following fox Pre-Chorus 1: We only say on the holy day What means we separate Clueless strays, baby won’t you stay As the pressure is on parade Who’d go naughty and who’d go nice What means we delegate Especially made, hapless state, Baby did I make the grade? Chorus 1: Steel eye, steel eye. Steel eye lie still. Verse 2: To come clean in the fog Your famous list unthawed Tilling through the street finds Consuming the persistent divine Spare bread and butter at the feast There’s plenty of time to recite primetime speech Spill ourselves heavy, talking in feats As the main-stage play primes defeat Pre-Chorus 2: We only say on the holy day What means we separate Clueless strays, baby won’t you stay As the pressure is on parade Who’d go naughty and who’d go nice What means we delegate Especially made, hapless state, Baby did I make the grade? Chorus 2: Steel eye, steel eye. Steel eye lie still. Steel eye, steel eye. Steel eye lie still, woah, woah, woah. Chorus 3: Steel eye, steel eye. Steel eye lie still. Steel eye, steel eye. Steel eye lie still,

Verse 1: In the cupboard, With Mother Hubbard Suit black, talk back, lack of syntax Lick those lips, Control the hips Cut the slack, lean back, lose to false attack It’s not my fault! It’s not your fault! Ultra sound, derelict ground, crinkles on a deep frown. It’s dead to me! Dead quietly…Shhhh! Baby it’s staged, producers waste. Pre Chorus 1: People in their houses All gather around People in their houses All gather around Chorus 1: Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning… Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning… Verse 2: A feast for lunch, Packing a punch. Ready steady, open sesame, what is left for me? It won’t left click Or right click Out of luck, dumb struck, mountains of pop ups. It’s not my fault! It’s not your fault! Meanwhile, stockpile and force that beaming smile Some threads don’t tie But these eyes spy… (Gasp) Baby they’re crazed, all over the place. Pre Chorus: People in their houses All gather around People in their houses All gather around Chorus 2: Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning… Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning… Chorus 3: Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning… (People in their houses, all gather round) Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning… (People in their houses, all gather round)

Intro: Known, to know, no. Known, to know, no. Known, to know, no. Known, to know, no. Verse 1: I keep on pipping the politic with negativity, Come Monday morning I’ll agree to about any remedy. 15 hours later still addicted to our memory No one matches your eyes so let the birds just sing to me, Let them sing to me, Chorus 1: Another time, Another time, Another time, Another time, Verse 2: Keep on dipping my feet into what this might be Keep on laughing at the split second moves we seize 4 weeks later surrounded by noisy microphones. No one matches your eyes so let the birds just sing to me, So let us seek release, Chorus 2: Another time, Another time, Another time, Another time, Another time, Another time... Break 1: Known to know no / Known to know no Known to know no / Known to know no Chorus Extension: Another time, Another time. Outro: Known, to know, no. Known, to know, no. Known, to know, no. Famous 05:15
Verse 1: Just name it Make it famous Let it shape us Rearrange, twist us Winners, losers Beggars, choosers Stray from the edges Let it consume us Verse 2: The lift-off lands Plans stay grand Letting your love Take my hand Your beauty overwhelms, Sorcery and spell Fill the ink dry well Drawing me further in Chorus 1: Sway pretty; say it right In my head, hold you tight Your stinging eyes, Stung into sight Oh so close This deep dark night My heart’s picket fight Verse 3: A broken tap, All of the traps A letter miles long, A new soundtrack Confessions tucked under intense wraps, The supermassive language gap Drawing me further in Chorus 2: Sway pretty; say it right In my head, hold you tight Your stinging eyes, Stung into sight Oh so close This deep dark night My heart’s picket fight

Verse 1 At the end of my tether! You’ve shown the white feather, Lackadaisically waltzing into first light. See all of the papers, All the backhanded favours, Shaking the salt so you taint the right flavours Pre Chorus 1: All the cock and bull stories, All the guts and the gory, All the fame and the glory, now nothing to me. All bark and no bite! All the lights on overnight. All dressed up and ready to go, Chorus 1: Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you... Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you go. Verse 2: Stuck in miles of traffic, You’ve chosen fake graphics. Lackadaisically waltzing into first light. A serial binger, Blame it on butter fingers, Downing your sorrows to those nay-sayers! Yeah. Pre Chorus 2: All the cock and bull stories, All the guts and the gory, All the fame and the glory, now nothing to me. All bark and no bite! All the lights on overnight. All dressed up and ready to go, Chorus 2 Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you... Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you go. Chorus 3 Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you... Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you go. Chorus 4: Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you... Stuck, sticky. Murder, mystery. Come quickly, And kiss it all better before you.

A Middle 04:19
Verse 1: Without the faint shadow of doubt Misbehave these thoughts out loud Curl Into my arms and how The spotlight frames the morning hour. Taking in the tiny things That make a man a million things Return to verse the silence said Seeing black and white in colour instead. Oh, I could have been anything you saw through Would it be good if I told that truth, yeah. I’d give all my days and my nights for you. I’d give all my days and my nights for you. Chorus 1: I’ll wait then, I’ll stay when Let it awaken Let it hit when. When I’m, somewhere closer Somewhere closer to a middle. Verse 2: Making peace, those warning signs. The pieces that we hid behind. To come together and thank the thirst Drank the wine, scratch the search. I couldn’t believe what you’d been through And would it be good if I stayed true? I’d give all my days and my nights for you. I’d give all my days and my nights for you. Chorus 2: I’ll wait then, I’ll stay when Let it awaken Let it hit when. When I’m somewhere closer Somewhere closer to a middle…. Outro: I’d give all my days and my nights for you (etc)

Frostbitten 04:00
Verse 1: We die When the frost bites In a trice, a beauty in lusting paradise Nothing shy about that boys Verse 2: I’m sorry I’m not the biggest catch A tiny trinket lyrical mine I don’t understand the phases But I know enough now Verse 3: The warm touch brushed home the light Was it enough to see you through the dark nights? You throw sharp sand on it We throw a hand to it, oh... Verse 4: When I reach it punches through the seeds we sewed And I mean no harm through the seams I tore Honey I’m a scene of many, any and so much more How I’ve seen your pristine fall for….. Verse 5: Fall for Fall for Fall for Fall for

Verse 1: Fractured the finest china Holy ghosts A winter of summertime dreams Only almost. People talking all about it An inch too close Okay, people always talk but There’s so much freight in the stories sold. Verse 2: People make out People look in People make me out to be A man I’ve never been People think out loud About this modern love Absurd and unabashed You cross fingers inside your gloves Chorus 1: I can see. There’s trouble, There’s trouble. Trouble, trouble. Verse 3: Fairylights and coffee, Sometimes spontaneity Decisions, blurred vision Porous intensity Turn to meet me As I turn and meet you. I know behind your eyes There’s so much waiting, waiting to be told Chorus 2: And I, See there’s trouble, There’s trouble. Trouble, trouble. There’s trouble. Trouble, trouble. There’s trouble. Trouble, trouble.

“That’s rather lovely!”
(Janice Forsyth on single Million, BBC Radio Scotland)

“A beautiful song.”
(Jim Gellatly on single Fox, Amazing Radio)

“…a sound which successfully reflects the vastness of Scotland and Iceland’s breathtaking wilderness.” (Spotlight UK)

Zac Scott is a Glasgow based acoustic singer-songwriter who has spent the past two years writing and recording a unique collection of songs inspired by the land – and sound – scapes of Scotland and Iceland, resulting in his debut album “For The Love Of…” Influenced by the likes of James Blake, David Gray, Arcade Fire and Olafur Arnalds, Zac is steadily building his reputation across Scotland on the strength of his intricate writing and strikingly visual live performances with a 7-piece band.

Following the self-releases of debut single ‘Fox’, and subsequent singles ‘Million’ (recently BBC Radio Scotland’s first Single of the Week 2020) and ‘Frostbitten’ and a series of preview showcases across Glasgow (Old Hairdressers, The Glad Café & The CCA), the artist continues to raise the bar. Zac was due to perform “For The Love Of...” in full with a colourful one-off launch show at Glasgow’s iconic Saint Luke’s in April 2020, though this has been postponed.

Zac built a team of musicians with producer Thomas Brumby - Cameron Black, Joe Standley, Sarah McWhinney, Gudrun Soley Sigurdardottir, Kenny Cormack and Grace Dale. The team worked collaboratively to devise the album which comprises of 12 tracks that blend acoustic piano, intimate and layered vocals, double bass, cello, violin, drums and electric guitars to create a unique and evocative sound. The upcoming album contains very memorable and powerful pop songs that have been woven into intricate and ethereal landscapes.

To fund this entire project, Zac continued to work as a music teaching artist across different artistic contexts throughout Scotland, primarily with The Academy of Music and Sound (Glasgow and Edinburgh) and inclusive music and dance organisation Paragon Music. He trained at Lincoln Center Education, New York and graduated from BA (Hons) Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he also won The Mary Stuart Prize for Public Speaking. Other notable teaching artistry practice includes sessions with the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall New York, Starcatchers, Support in Mind Scotland, Music Broth, Glasgow East Arts Company and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
